Something finally occurred to me. This Yankees team is good.
No, more than good. This is a great team.
For some time I have been thinking the Dodgers, Phillies, and Angels all looked better to win the Series.
I was wrong. This Yankees team has it all.
They should easily win 100 games for the first time since 2004.
The Yankees have hall of famers at third, short, catcher, and closing in the bullpen. They have a core of reliable starters. Mark Teixeira is one of the top 10 hitters in baseball. Robinson Cano gets better seemingly every day. Phil Hughes has become a reliable set-up man.
There seems to be a common belief building that the best team in baseball no longer wins the World Series. That will end this year, as the dynasty appears to be back.
